Hi, I’m Larry.

I’m your Sunnyvale Mayor.

Thanks to your support, I was elected as Sunnyvale’s first directly-elected Mayor in November of 2020, and I’m running for re-election in November of 2024.  Thanks you for the opportunity to represent you and amplify our community’s voice in the region.

With my experience, passion and track record – I have worked to make sure all voices are heard in our diverse community. Together, we have weathered difficult times and made progress in numerous important issues. I’ve worked tirelessly to improve our quality of life.

I am running for re-election for Mayor in 2024. I hope to earn your vote and support once again, so I can continue to work for a better Sunnyvale.

”Coordinated support and got funding to extend Stevens Creek Trail to Fremont Avenue

”Coordinated all 15 Santa Clara County Mayors to sign a letter asking County Health to partner on COVID-19, and brought free testing to Murphy Park

”Successfully adopted an emergency ordinance to grant tenant eviction protection and limit large rental rate increases

”Started the yearly raising of the LGBTQ Flag at City Hall beginning in June 2019 for Pride Month

”Successfully advocated to lower the speed limit on El Camino Real to 35MPH making it safer for all
